Do I need to be fit and strong to start pole dancing lessons?
No! It certainly helps to be fit, and if you take up regular pole dance lessons you will find your fitness improves greatly, but it is not essential for you to be very fit and strong to start to learn.
We teach ladies of all shapes, sizes and abilities. The moves you learn as a beginner will help to build your strength and improve your fitness allowing you to progress on to more advanced moves.

What should I wear?
You don't need any special dance clothes, just something comfortable which allows you to move freely. We recommend leggings or joggers with a light weight t shirt or vest top. To progress to climbing the pole (usually in your second lesson) you will need to wear shorts to enable you to grip the pole.
You may dance in socks, barefoot or with soft dance shoes. Please use a plaster to cover any cuts and blisters on your feet.

What age can I start pole lessons?
You must be 16 or older to start pole dance lessons. If you are under 18 you will need a parent or guardian to bring you to your first lesson and sign a consent form.

Where are lessons held?
Lessons are held at our fully equipped pole studio just outside of Swanley, Kent.
We can also teach you at home if you live in Swanley, Sidcup, Orpington, Dartford, Crayford, Bexley, Bexleyheath or South East London. We have poles that can be fitted temporarily or can teach on your own pole if you have one.
